IHS Nigeria PLC is a company incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the year of 2001. The company commenced operations by providing turnkey solutions for telecommunications operators and vendors who seek to build telecommunications infrastructures for fixed and wireless telecommunication services. The two main aspects of its current business are telecommunications infrastructure deployment and post-construction management (operation and maintenance). Currently, the company conducts activities in all the states of the federation. IHS Nigeria PLC is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company with a Quality Management System to control its implementation, maintenance, finance, warehousing, logistics, and all other related procedures. IHS is registered with Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and currently finalizing its registration with Nigeria Society of Engineers (“NSE”). The Company engages in the following activities:

Telecommunications Infrastructure Build: IHS handles all sides of telecommunications network construction starting from site acquisition and design, equipment supply, civil, electromechanical, telecommunications installation, and finish with integration and testing.

Telecommunications Infrastructure Management: A normal continuation of network build is network operations and maintenance where IHS ensures network availability the vast majority of time by eliminating all sort of failures through adopting preventive and corrective maintenance.

Infrastructure Lease and Collocation: By being a builder and manager of infrastructure all over Nigeria for the past seven years, IHS Nigeria PLC. possesses the know-how to develop such models. We believe a major part of the answers to the problem of reduction of cost of communications lies in the infrastructure lease and collocation model. Recently, the Nigerian Communication Commission’s (NCC) has adopted collocation as part of its strategy for telecommunications infrastructure deployment.
